The Cornwall Residential Landlords' Association was formed in 1990 to promote and protect the interests of residential landlords in Cornwall. Members of the association enjoy the shared knowledge and experience of a group of professional landlords with property throughout Cornwall.
The Association regularly liaises with the Cornish District Councils, the Police and other relevant organisations in the area.
At meetings, which are held every two months to exchange views, members can update their knowledge and keep informed of new legislation and other developments, discuss ideas and concerns, and learn from guest speakers.
Past guest speakers at these meetings have included local MP's, the Rent Officer, Housing Benefit Managers, Community Health Team Officers, Fire and Police Officers, Trading Standards and Environmental Health Ofifcers and many charitable organisations related to housing.
In December 2004 the decision was made to incorporate the Association which now exists as a company limited by guarantee.
